Privacy
In short: no account, no name, no cookies and no ads. Most of what happens stays in your browser. Only two things go outside, and both are described here.
1. The helper (Claude)
When you send a question to the helper, this goes to Anthropic (the company that runs Claude): the question, the program in memory, the last lines on the screen, and a few earlier questions and answers from the same conversation. That's all, so the helper can answer. So please don't write personal details to the helper.
We don't keep the questions. Anthropic does not use data sent this way to train its models. The full details are in its policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
2. The world Hall of Fame
When you enter a high score, only four things are stored in our database: the game's name, the three letters you typed, the score and the date. They are shown to everyone who visits. If you don't want to be identified, don't type initials that identify you.
The database is hosted by Neon, through Vercel. Want a score removed? Write to us and we'll delete it.
What stays with you
These are kept in your browser's storage (localStorage) and are not sent anywhere:
- The home Hall of Fame, and the last initials you typed.
- The cassettes you saved with
CSAVE. - How many questions you asked the helper today (for the daily limit).
- Preferences: the last tab, whether the drawn keyboard is open or folded, and that you've already seen the welcome card.
Clearing this site's browsing data in your browser deletes all of these.
A link for sharing a program doesn't send it to any server either: the program lives inside the link itself (after the # sign).
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, their servers briefly log the requests they receive (including the IP address), for operation and security. We use the address only to limit how many questions and scores are sent per hour, and we don't keep it.
Contact
A question, a request to delete a score, or anything else: contact Gonen (the contact page is in Hebrew; writing in English is fine).
